I was once in a relationship but was too immature, nor did I understand how to maintain it. It ended horribly, and I struggled with it for a couple of months, but then I understood what needed to happen to maintain a relationship in the future. If I hadn't fallen so hard then, I might not be so strong today and understand how to maintain a stable relationship.

This song came out just as I found myself at the center of a highly publicized criminal case. I was living like a rockstar and ignoring my family. After it all played out, I'd lost everything and ended up in prison. A preacher told me at one point that my life was about to take a turn for the worst. It did and had that all not have happend I wouldn't have the wife that I have now whom I love more than anything. So this song holds a special place in my heart.

Wow!!! This song absolutely amazes me!! I've never heard it until tonight!! And yet this is the same exact struggle I have been battling for awhile now. The lyrics are absolutely priceless!! I fell in love with this awesome woman in Montana. She crushed my world and tore my heart to shreds. But I am thankful that I did because like the song says, I needed to fall to recognize and confront my own flaws. Life changing experience. Change is inevitible, growth is optional. Thank you baby.
