Yes, but like Ace Frehley, Gary had a weakness for numbing himself with the bottle. It cost both of them there jobs. Both were very influential in their prime, and seen both of them perform many times in the '70's and early 80's. REO replaced Richrath with a tremendous guitarist, Dave Amato; very talented musician.

Gary Richrath is such an ultra hard rocker....he works that Les Paul like you would imagine Ace Frehley or Neal Schon working it. hARd rOCk! What rock and roll is all about. Gary is up there with the greats.
