Bruce Hall wrote this song, he told me...... :) One of my all time favorites & I met the man that wrote it. I asked of course who it was written for.... he said, No one... he just wrote it! <3 <3 it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Musically, REO was OK. They're all talented but they got into a rut. All of their hits were because they used the same EXACT formula to write. Riding the Storm Out, Roll with the Changes, etc, have the same pattern. And repetitive as well. But, they fit a niche and rocked. This song is the exception to their style...

Brings back great memories. This came out in 1979, I was 13 years old and still love this song today.

Never heard of this particular band before, just heard the song on the radio and googled the lyrics cause I liked it. But I LOVE this kind of music, have for a few years...and I'm a fifteen year old girl! I'm saying this because good music appeals to everyone, no matter when it was written, and I wanted some of the "old fogies" :-) on here to know that there are young people listening to this kind of music as well - its not a dead genre!

This is sooo much better than "Keep On Loving You" and the other soft rock pop drivel that they did in the 80s. Really impressive song. Why wasn't this song a hit? It should have been.Kick that Kevin guy out; and let him start his own band. The guy ruined your sound.
