Hope you are having a great summer in the north and winter in the south of this great planet!

Renegade Five is working hard on new songs, and planning more concerts and tours. Thought you might like to know the evolution of our music, and how we get to the final version. Today, let's look at WHEN YOU ARE GONE! Here is the final demo version we created as a guide, to end up with the finished album version.

Much goes into creating a song. We work on the lead vocal track, then add harmonies. Next we lay down guitardrum and bass tracks to feel where the music is going.Then all of the synthesizers, orchestral sounds and effects. The group gets together in the studio and discuss each part.

Then we lay down new tracks and continue in this process, until we get the exact feel and sound we are looking for.

Per Liden is famous for having us do it over and over again, until he hears exactly what is in his head! That's what makes him such a great song writer and leader of our group.

Listen to this version, and then to your album cut and see how we developed the song into the great power ballad it now is!
