Thanks for posting this video. Never heard this version, but I love it. Saw Annie and the boys twice at The Tower Theater; once with The Strawbs and the the other with Al Stewart. Two of best double concerts ever. It's nice to see Annie smile. Check out other concert footage, you never see her smile. However, one of the best voices ever.

Annie deserves to be up there with the other greats of that era: Sandy Denny, Jacqui McShee, etc.... Such a pure, crystalline voice...

Annie's voice is nothing short of angelic. She is beautiful on top of that. One of the things I like most about this song is that it gives me goosebumps with just raw, unfiltered simplicity. No digital enhancement, no electronic makeover, just pure natural talent.

Words are meaningless. Adjectives fail me. This video gets me every fucking time! One live take. She nails it! This is not exactly a "stroll in the park" for the singer. The vocals are... are... How shall I put it! The only word that fits are "Divine". xD

Somehow Renaissance's popularity never moved into the heartland of the US. They were hugely popular on the east coast where I lived, and I saw them in concert multiple times in NYC, Philadelphia and the Lehigh Valley. But ask folks in the mid-west about them, and you get a blank stare.

When Annie sings "part of the world that you live in..." the "T" in the word "part" has a tinge of her accent showing through and its is so sexy!

Saw Annie Haslem/Renaissance last weekend (April 21, 2013) in Newton, NJ, as well as the previous weekend in Lakewood, NJ. In a word, they were phenomenal. Her voice is still amazing - truly an angel. The symphonic arrangements and clear, crisp orchestration was excellent. Turn of the Cards, 20 minute break and then Scheherazade. It was a nice surprise start as well, opening with Carpet of the Sun at the Newton show. I especially loved Ocean Gypsy, Mother Russia, Running Hard & Scheherazade.
