I found a version of "La Cathedrale Engloutie" (the Debussy prelude used as the intro and outro to this song) arranged for harp duet here on YouTube. I put that and this in my "Classical and Prog" playlist. Thanks a lot for the upload!

Eu houvi este disco numa viagem para o interior de minas até gastar agulha, muito lindo, é um dos grupos mais antigos tirando os rolingstones, tem uma musicalidade rica demais e o vocal é impressionante.

What a powerful, moving song! We'll never hear anything like it again- not in this day & age.

@ Goytá F. Villela Jr. - It IS possible to give this a thumbs-down for constructive reasons, you know! Just saying. I like Renaissance a lot, and the Ashes Are Burning LP particularly, but I think this is one of the weaker tracks on it.

Maybe I'm just getting old, but where is the creativity and talent like this today? I listen to a lot of different music, but no voice has ever touched me like Annie's!!!!!

I know that Annie Haslam ruined me for the likes of Candice Night. And I really wanted to enjoy Night too..they are bringing back the pre-pop music and making a good effort to use faithful sounding arrangements. But that ensemble has no supernatural voice like this..

Annie doesn't play this song...She told me "but I play Ocean gypsy" i said--but Ocean Gypsy is not At The harbour" she said "I suppose": lol...I have no live audio or video of this song....the only renaissance song I have no live recording. She last played this live in Rochester NY 1981

I think of this song when I watch Deadliest Catch on Discovery Channel. Listen to this song and think of the many ships that never returned.

Haunting is the word for this, truly. I hadn't heard this for many years, but on rehearing it was an eerie feeling of having missed it all that time without realizing it.
