A great idea to celebrate the exploitation and abuse of Michael...Obviously certain people think that Michael being drugged,raped,prostituted and trafficked was awonderful thing for everyone, even for Michael himself who suffered all the possibleabuses being pimped and prostituted since he was a child.All that and the pain andtrauma caused to him means nothing to the "fans" of this band who just want to be entertained...That is just unbelievably selfish,cruel and superficial.

Great upload of REM and Michael is so cool of a musician. One of the greatest rock bands of all time. Yes am proud to be a fan of this band, cause I grew up not far from Athens and 40 Watt. So happy they branched out from Athens to the World. Sweet success for this humble band.

Michael wasn't just prostituting himself because of his drug addiction,he was actively being pimped by people around him since childhood.Sexually abused and prostituted since he was a child.You could even say that the band was really just a cover for the REAL money making which was the pimping and trafficking of Michael to men in the U.S and overseas.Michael's drug addiction just made him easier to control and abuse.That is the uncomfortable truth that people try to ignore,because it's much easier to blame the victim.

He worked hard through the 1980's.Touring almost non stop,recordingAND working the streets because back then they had no money.He had to supporthis drug addiction.That is NO glamorous rock star lifestyle.Poverty,drug addiction,prostitution..Not something I would ever want to live through.That's why I feel very sad for Michael.For a very long time his life was so difficult and dangerous.I think he is incredibly strong but also a very damaged person who many people have abused and treated badly.

Yeah Liuredy, what a poor pitiful creature. Didn't have to work a day past 20. When he wasn't helping create some of the most original music in rock history or playing in front of adoring fans he spent his time and bazillions of dollars getting high and having sex with pretty much anyone he wanted. I'm sure your life has been much more interesting and fulfilling, please share!

If I'm not mistaken, REMdave used to have some of these clips up before the channel vanished. I believe the notes for this show stated that this was the day the band found out that Murmur had cracked the top 40.
