00:00:42 No one noticed in 1991 someone is already requesting A Perfect Circle songs, he must be from the future

OMG! I've been looking for this song by REM for years. Got it on a little vinyl record as an insert from magazine in the 80's! I could never remember anything but the 'Oh where are you now' part!

I was there too, and got the hand towel and t shirt.....as I recall the Borderline only holds 280 people so we are truly lucky, best gig I ever saw...also the Chickasaw Mud Puppies played

Great video of R.E.M. performing Syd Barrett's 'Dark Globe' in 1991. Michael is hilarious here.#REM #SydBarrett #DarkGlobe

Roger Waters said he saw Stipe perform Dark Globe at the Hammersmith Odeon so it was likely a show from May, 1989 and not this one.

シドよりキーが高いけど高音部の声も伸びてて凄い上手。 歌い続けてくれる方が居て下さってシドファンとして嬉しいです。

Studio version is way better, but this version is cool because of the interaction with the crowd.

Big R.E.M. and Syd Barrett fan, but this wasn't a particularly good cover. Interesting and glad to see it on here tho!!
