80's R.E.M. and Velvet Underground are my absolute favorite bands.I think Michael was a great combination of Nico and Lou Reed.He just made covers of the VU songs that were most important and personal to him as a young streetwalker : There She Goes Again, Femme Fatale and Pale Blue Eyes.He really made them his own. Especially the recorded version of There She Goes Again is fascinatingly sensitive and vulnerable.11 years ago
