THE BIBLE IS THE END ALL BE ALL. BIOLOGY COMES FROM GOD. GOD CREATES ALLOF US. IF YOU DONT BELIEVE THAT EVERY WORD OF THE BIBLE OS RELAVET THAN I AM SORRY FOR YOU. WILL BE PRAYING FOR YOU. ASK GOD TO REVEAL HIS WILL AND OPEN YOUR HEART AND EYES. YOU REALLY CANT PICK AND CHOOSE FROM THE BIBLE. YOU NEED TO BELIEVE IT ALL. WHAT IF YOU PICKED THE WRONG THINGS ???? ARE YOU PERFECT ?? PRETTY SURE ONLY GOD IS. IT DOESNT ALWAYS MAKE SENSE BUT GOD WILL REVEAL ALL THE TRUTH. I LOVE YOU AND WILL BE PRAYING FOR YOU

yes you are right it was a pagan holiday that was adopted by Christianity. so either you celebrate the winter pagan holiday or you celebrate the Christian holiday named Christmas its up to you but saying Jesus has nothing to do with it just shows that you are a dumb ass. the word Christ is literally in Christmas, so try to not be a smart ass, yes it once was pagan and now adopted to be christian. so next think about the way you write your comments

Christianity is one of the only religions that try to convert people.

you do realize that most christian holidays were moved around pagan holidays so that it was easier to convert those from other religions. like all saints day and all souls day were placed right after the pagan holiday all souls eve (of which the name was changed to fit all saints day, it morphed into hallows eve then to halloween) almost ever single christian holiday was moved so that it would be easier to convert people to their religion, and actually,

Though I do agree with you, I do not agree with the "Don't like it, then don't watch it." motto. How the hell can you know if you like it or not if you haven't watched it? Other than that I'm all for you 100%.

Your username says a lot about you! Keep in mind that you're arguing about Christmas on a Christmas related song by a Christian punk rock band. Why the hell are you even here?

The term Christmas appeared in Old English as early as 1038 A.D. as Cristes Maesse, and later as Cristes-messe in A.D. 1131. It means "the Mass of Christ." This name was established by the Christian church to disconnect the holiday and its customs from its pagan origins. Okay, so you still think of Christmas as the 1038 A.D. "Cristes Maesse" pagan holiday? That's just like saying the Republican party now had the same political views as the 19th century Republican party.

The date of Christ's actual birth is unknown. It is not recorded in the Bible. However, Christians of all denominations and faith groups, aside from the Church of Armenia, celebrate the birth of Jesus on December 25th naming it Christmas. So, yes. Christmas DOES have to do with Jesus. What does the date of celebration have to do with it? Even then... Jesus' birth is still unknown, so how do you even know that it isn't in December?

Wow. You are kidding right? Christmas has nothing to do with Christ? Christmas is all about Christ. The entire celebration is based on the birth of our Savior.

Christmas was a preexisting holiday that was relabeled "Christmas", it has nothing to do with Christ. That example is completely unrelated. Of course not all presidents weren't born on the same day. It would be a different story if we celebrated the birth of Lincoln on the day obama was born. That wouldn't make sense. If we changed the name of Halloween to "Spaghetti Monster Day" It wouldn't matter because Halloween has nothing to do with the Spaghetti monster.

Christmas is a relabeled Pagan Holiday, Jesus was not born in December.
