http://www.redskins.co.uk Redskins playing 'Hold On' & 'Keep On Keepin' On' live. The striking Durham miners name is Norman Strike. Norman's speech can't be heard as the microphone was cut off. But if you want to hear what Norman Strike had to say he did re-record the speech for the Redskins tribute album 'Reds Strike The Blues' which is out on the Red Star Recordings record label and is available from http://cdbaby.com/redskins

The perfect synthesis of passionate politics and rock'n roll...they might have been SWP but I loved them all the same as they put their politics at the heart of their music, which not only inspired activism but also 'a turn on the dance floor' - no better combination. If only we had bands today with the integrity and conviction of these guys....

I'm in love with guys who look like this. I love Skinhead culture. Racist Facists kill yourselves. Real Skins are the only Skins.

I love that Chris Dean line "the only thing you get for standing in the middle of the road is being run over" Respect lads - the bruises I got at your concerts (and I don't just mean the GLC concert that the NF invaded) would hospitalise me now!

Fantastic. I remember going to the Mean Fiddler for The Redskins "Month of Sundays" - happy days. And as they say "No point if we don't shoot the bastards afterwards....."

It's Durham miner Norman Strike. The microphone was cut off during Norman's speech. But you can hear what Norman had to say on the Redskins tribute album 'Red Strike The Blues' (search YouTube for The Che Men - Keep On Keepin' On)
