This album is so fucking good.I didn't know who this dude was till a couple of days ago, but after one listen to the album I rate him as one of my favourite emcees. The two untitled bonus tracks are incredible, as is the rest of the LP. Records this good are few and far between these days - don't sleep on this shit

Sounds like the sample is Daniel Johnston - Some Things Last a Long Time

Gold. Does Red Pill remind anyone else of e-dubble ? Just the beats and the flow are similar, both great.

Anyone noticed the Piano line is looped from Daniel Johnston's some things last a long time still good song.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Red Pill "showcases a candid, honest look at the world through his eyes and his experience." The self-produced yet captivating first single, "Look What This World Did To Us," is also fittingly the album-titled track to his project dropping in April. I think Red Pill is one of the most talented rappers to look out for, simply because of all the cynical realness he brings. "Depression compounded. The empty packs of cigarettes turned into cellophane towers. The whiskey mixed with an absence of hope. This album is a signal flare, an escape route, and catharsis. This isn’t just hip-hop, this is an attempt to distill the disillusion and cure the hangover. It’s both a brilliant mission statement and a jazzy funeral for what was promised but never delivered." In love with this melodious, new track here!
