The ending is basically him realizing that he was the one that was supernatural all along and that robert deniro was a fake. thats why he was beat up in the bathroom cuz they needed him to stop trying to prove deniro as a fake. Thats why he keeps saying you cannot deny yourself because he finally realized that it was him all along and that through all of the investigation, all he was really trying to do was find someone else like him.... and he regrets not telling siguoney weaver the truth

Basically, Cillian Murphy is a superhero waging a war against hacks like Simon Silver. It's a movie about artistic validity and what separates an artist from a poser and how the public deserves better. That's how I took it, anyways.

To be honest - I didnt understand the ending of the movie, will have to watch it again. But Cillian Murphy is so fucking hot!!! And best he looked in the last 5 minutes :D Hope that I'll understand the movie when I'm gonna watch it tomorrow again (and this time in my favourite cinema^^)
