Some people have to recognize Hillel Slovak, he was the music father of the RHCP, he teached Flea to play Bass guitar, and John Frusciante guitar playing is inspirated on him, check the wah wah licks style, funky chords, you can listen them from Mother's Milk to Stadium arcadium, Frusciante is part of the Hillel's legacy10 years ago

To all these John performed it better then Hillel, That one show's tempo was alot faster (and to be honest at that speed the song sounds better) They looked really doped out here. Hillel didn't write the song, Jack Sherman did.10 years ago

Totally agree with you. When they start this all think, they played real funk, but when John come in a band, everything changed.(Don't understand me wrong, for me Frusciante is a god), they became more melodical, BSSM is the only album with John that is something to funk, others album is just rock, ofc those riffs like: Snow, dosed and etc its great, but that not funk... "I'm with you" for me is totally shit, the whole reason why people can listen that album is Bass line's:)11 years ago
