I admire your work and love the chorus, however it doesn't seem like you got the feel right as you did with something like ARP. This just doesn't rock like it should. I feel that the tone is a little to mild. I know you want a clean tone, but I feel like the verse in particular just doesn't feel right without that harsh and hollow tone that flea has. Ok, I get that you used those two pedals. But did you record your bass to sound so clean? I mean you can distinguish it's tone. I'm still new to this. I do have a decent audio interface and a sansamp DI and I was wondering. Mine sounds very muddish and I can only get like a default bass..8 years ago

seriously, man. At first I was like "wait a minute. He's not playing it right." about halfway through the song I was digging how you put your own flair to it. I have the Boss AW-3, and I cant get that wack wow vibe. people say Flea used a boss envelope filter. I highly doubt it. I think more along the lines of a vintage Mu-Tron.
