Red Hot Chili Peppers - Snow - Mandolin & Upright Bass Cover video free download
This Red Hot Chili Peppers cover of Snow is dedicated to my lifelong best friend David Coover who died on January 13th 2014. The Chili Peppers' where one of his favorite bands. He always liked my other Chili Peppers' covers and told me to cover them more often, so I chose to cover 'Snow' in memory of him.
I borrowed my girlfriend's mandolin and learned how to play this song over the last month. Mandolin and bass compliment each other well, I think. I'm playing on D'Addario Kaplan Heavy Tension strings here - I think they sound really rich.
Also, I should thank Ari Kaplan for helping me shoot video!
