Red Hot Chili Peppers are an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1983. For most of its existence, the band has consisted of vocalist Anthony Kiedis, guitarist John Frusciante, bassist Michael "Flea" Balzary, and drummer Chad Smith. The band's varied musical style has fused traditional rock and funk with various elements of heavy metal, punk rock and psychedelic rock.

In addition to Kiedis and Flea, the group originally featured guitarist Hillel Slovak and drummer Jack Irons. However, Slovak died of a heroin overdose in 1988, resulting in Irons resigning.[1] Irons was replaced briefly by former Dead Kennedys drummer D. H. Peligro before the band found a permanent replacement in Chad Smith, while Slovak was replaced by up-and-coming guitarist Frusciante. This lineup recorded the band's fourth and fifth albums, Mother's Milk (1989) and Blood Sugar Sex Magik (1991).

Bohemia Afterdark launched on TVs in 1982 and operated in Phoenix, AZ, but early history is unknown until 1990 when they moved to Portland, Oregon. In 1992 they began airing on KPDX Portland and then they move to KWBP in 1994. In 1995 they began airing on 22 Network One affiliates. In 1997 Network One shut down and the service moved to KOIN and in 2001, the service moved back to Phoenix, airing on KASW, then in 2002, moved to KPHO-TV. In 2003 they got their own station, KPHE-LP, at the time broadcasting on channel 19 in Mesa, Arizona, and changed their name to Bohemia Visual Music. KPHE moved to channel 44 in Phoenix in 2005.[2] Bohemia Visual Music changed their name to 24-7 Videos for a few months from mid-2005 to early-2006, then reverted to Bohemia Visual Music.

They say ignorance is bliss, I prefer nostalgia. I will never forget playing tony hawk on my friends n64 after a nice skate session in the driveway. But then again i was ignorant as a child so maybe I am right and wrong at the same time!

Me and My Friends and has been played every tour since it's debut. It's one of their most played songs and now one of two pre-Blood Sugar songs they play with the other being Higher Ground.

It's not painful. They played the hell out of those songs up until pretty much John's return. On the Calfornication tour they started to become rarer and rarer with each tour. I think with the band they focus on the now rather than the past. How they have evolved. With they would throw us old school fans a oldie every now and then. They played 16-18 songs a show, under 2 hours. Pretty much always have and with a large number of hits they tend to pick from the newer stuff.

Sex Rap was last played in 2006 and once.

actually then you would also know they don't even play anything from Mother's Milk either except for the cover of Higher Ground. Mother's Milk is avoided. It was mostly avoided with John because he always admitted he hated how he played on that album, hated the person he was back then.

Oh to add to that...Anthony in my honest opinion seems to be the one truly keeping them from the old stuff. Like I said he writes the setlists but I also think it has to do with the evolving of the band, his evolving as a singer. Party on Your Pussy at age 50...would love to hear it but maybe he feels different. If one thing they lack it's the variety of live songs and length of shows.

Actually other than Mother's Milk Higher Ground and Uplift's Me and My Friends it's, that they play pre- Blood Sugar stuff these days. It sucks as a longtime fan. Love everything they done but I feel they are trapped into the new stuff, mainly Anthony who creates the setlists. He even said of Blood Sugar's 20th anniversary they don't look backwards so it wasn't even celebrated, re-released. 2013 marked their 30th anniversary as a band...no celebration. .
