My band performed this one yesterday live at a benefit concert to raise funds for a local charity organization in Temecula. We posted the live sound mix that was recorded from a Zoom Q3HD mounted towards the back third of the amphitheater on our YouTube band page, but the mixer recording turned out so amazing that I wanted to share it here, as well. It sounds like a studio recording, but this was performed live. Hope you like our tribute cover. Every song we perform by over 40 artists we strive to capture as accurately as this one. Cheers. Jeff

I can't seem to identify how to multi-track record so I could later throw each individual recorded track into Garageband to mix. Are you saying the Mackie DL 1608 can record each channel to a separate file?

hey did u dubbed sumthing on it 'coz i noticed on the guitar solo part, there was a accompanyin' fulltime rhythmn distortion while on the video there was only one guitar player, but really sounds nice actually, it motivates me to pick up my gear lol!

Hi Jeff.Can you fill me in on the process of splitting the channels in the recording.In the past I have been using 2 Zoom R16 recorders linked but now the band I normally record has upgraded to a mackie system with no traditional record out option.Can you tell me the program you used and firewire set up assuming any audio edit program will do the job. ( I use Adobe audition or Cool edit pro)Check out my R16 recordings
