This is me, charlez360, playing alto saxophone, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, electric bass, and singing to Reamonn's smash hit, "Supergirl." I had so much fun doing this, so I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I did recording it!

I woke up that Saturday and I was free from work. I had nothing particularly to do, but that song was just stuck in my head because I was thinking about my own supergirl and all that she does.

So I started playing that song on acoustic guitar. I liked how it sounded so I recorded it.

Then, I remembered hearing an electric guitar on the original MP3 version by Reamonn, so I decided to add that too.

Something was missing. Bass. Added that.

Lastly, the drums were just thrown on there (I automated them) and they sounded good enough to keep on the song.

But something was still inside that I wanted to get out. I found myself constantly singing the song to myself throughout this process so I just decided to mess around and record the chorus for fun just to see how it would sound. It actually sounded alright and meshed well with the rest of the song, so I decided to keep it.

After all of that fun stuff, I packed my bags and headed to the campus of my university. Because I am not a music major, and the music hall is locked on weekends, I had to find an outdoor location to record at. I went to Rowe Arts, which has a beautiful courtyard with vines and very large, old tree that has some kind of power vested in it. I was inspired, and after warming up (in the cold) for about 30 minutes on sax, I was ready to record. In addition to this being my first recording outside in a long time, this was also my first live recording, seeing as there were students who were at windows and periodically coming down to see me play and record. I just want to thank them all for their kind words, support, and respect for my craft.

All in all, THIS WAS SO MUCH FUN!! In my opinion, the best video that I have done in a while :) BUT LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!!!
