Incredible song & video. My only critique is that I hate the color footage, most of it does not fit the video at all. In fact, it almost looks like it is not even part of this video or was the director's original vision? It looks like somebody tried to re-cut this video by adding this color footage. I don't know if this is actually the original video, because I never saw it before today, but the black & white/cepia footage looks like a bigger budget & the color does not.I'd cut out the color.

The vocal lines in the verse sound very influenced by New Order (influenced by the song 1963 especially). Even the music takes hints from that track. Also like New Order they have darker lyrics to an upbeat dance song. Not saying anything bad, because Real Life had already proven themselves as a thoughtful original group that transcended the one and done throwaway pop world and had become a "real" band.

Actually, Kylie Minogue ALSO ripped off the video clip for this as well with the opening water scene! Why this was not a Top 5 hit is BEYOND ME! Just as good as Send Me An Angel and Catch me I'm Falling so I ask WHY wasn't it a hit? One of Real Life's most FINEST moments, so timeless *****
