@Darkearth123- Actually, the Academy employs a voting system that only allows songs that score an 8 or more, and,they've admitted that the process needs review. I'm just saying there were 30+ potential nominees, and two ACTUAL nominees. That should not have happened, and it pissed a lot of folks off, like when the Dark Knight got snubbed.

@KybiWan1025 it's not the academy's fault that only 3 or 2 movies were made that had an original song in it, it's the film makers, the times and the people who to the movies: they're ALL at fault since not that many people want to see a good musical and the fact film makers are so sequel happy they'll do anything for a quick buck (COUGH COUGH ghost rider spirit of blah blah blah) that being said, Rooney Mara should've won best actress....

For the record, I like "Man or Muppet," and I love this song. But I REFUSE to believe that those were the only two songs worthy of a Best Original Song nod. The Academy is officially broken.
