Yeah, I remember Ray from the Austin Scene when I was goin' to school in San Marcus. I met Doug Sahm at Soap Creek Saloon. Ray only had one good song-the Redneck song, I cant believe how famous he has become back then he was heavily involved in drugs, of which i approve but just dont do anymore because us hippies are a dying breed! yeah. I agree. Strong Authentic voice and killer guitar with the bass and drums backing it up tight. Great solo and killer steel/ slide. Perfect blend for perfect song. This is where music makes me happiest. This dude does it for the art and expression. LOVE IT. I live in Austin, I will be looking up his next show.12 years ago
