If anyone can't appreciate these songs by Ray and the other great country crooners, they must be numb, bordering on dead.

I've been a fan of Mr. Price since I was quite young. My Dad had a45 of this that I wore out over the years. It's a crying shame that Nashville doesn't produce this kind of country music anymore. I've managed to replace the 45, but we'll never be able to replace Ray Price. Even when he went Nasville Pop in the 60's, he still maintained his artistic integrity, as he never recorded a song he didn't like. As for the comment about queers made in a previous comment, I DO take offense to that. But I do agree there's too many hats in Nashville that have no talent underneath them. The problem with Nashville these days, as it has been since the late 80's, is that there's too many business types running music prodution there, and not nearly enough who really, genuinely care, about the music. It's supposed to be music for adults, not boozing, brawling, over-aged juvernile delinquents with pissy attitudes and a ton of tattoos. This new idiiot, Brantley Gilbert, is my case in point, if need an example.

I just can't get my head around the fact that Ray is gone. Always been in love with his country shuffle beat. My love for his music goes all the way back to his Panther Hall days in Ft. Worth Texas. His passing has made me sad here at Christmas. We are going to miss you old buddy.

This should of been right up there next to his signature songs; Crazy Arms & Heartaches by the Number...."ONE MORE TIME" exemplifies his great voice, that four-four time beat and as always that great steel and fiddle with an awesome band...this ~MUSIC SOUND~ is a: Bob Wills, Bakersfield Sound and Texas 2 Step combination...Ray is the originator of this sound...I call it Aw Haw country, so would Bob Wills......yup Ray's the God Father...this is country!!!!

This is real country western music. The stuff today is mostly rock music. There are only a couple of good ones today like George Strait. Look at the way these country singers dressed back in them days. Today they all dress sloppy with holes in their clothes. I saw Ray Price in person many times in Texas and San Diego area back in the 50's & 60's. What great music we had than.
