I was driving my mother(82) to the shops to do her weekly shop when i nipped out to post a letter and on my return found my dear, grey-haired old amazing human being of a mother with a flood of tears streaming down her face as i approached the car. WTF i thought, has somebody had a go at her?, has she hurt herself?, good god, something has torn through this, normally strong-willed woman and ripped her in two.Then she told me..."are you ok mother??" i said(thinking somebody had punched her)..SOMEBODY SURE HAD!!!...her reply...."IS THIS THE CHAP YOU WERE TELLING ME ABOUT THE OTHER DAY....this boy can REALLY sing!!"She'd played BURN by Ray Lamontagne three times on repeat....FATAL...and those tears poured out.

I just don't know how you can listen to this and not feel a raw sorrow. "Its just this heart on my sleeve that is bleeding"- Ray has a way of making you feel like your heart is on your own sleeve when you hear his heart. Gosh! Amazing. Shame on you 7 who've disliked this!
