Jazz bass titan Ray Brown (1926 - 2002) shares the stage with great tenor sax player Michael Brecker (1949 - 2007), Swede guitar ace Ulf Wakenius, wunderkinds Danish/Vietnamese Niels Lan Doky on piano and Terri Lyne Carrington on drums (her grandfather Matt, had played with Fats Waller and Chu Berry), on "Ray's New Funk" where Ray Brown proves he can funk it up with the best of 'em. These are some of the top ten players of their instruments. A few of them will be greatly missed, but never forgotten... R.I.P. Dr. Ray Brown. R.I.P Michael Brecker...Some of the greatest of our time. In all seriousness... Thank you both for your contributions and your love for Jazz!!!
