I had this song on cassette and I wore it out playing it, I tried to find it later and could not, all my friends looked at me like I was nuts when I would ask if they had heard this song, it took me twenty years to find it !This song is the greatest ! One last question though, what the heck is Malbayotta ? and how did Carlota get "Malbayotta" ?????

@njplr Nothing can be farther from the truth. i am a musician and lived in NYC in the 70's when Salsa was king and clubs like the Corso was swinging with the sounds of Tipica 73, Casanonva Y Montuno to name a few. There will never be a musical explosion like that of the Salsa of the 70's.

I remember walking home from my Abuleas on 106th en el Barrio and you could walk all the way down 3rd avenue and hear Great Salsa music blaring in the streets all the way up to Fordham Road. This was the peak of Latin music and we had no idea how good it was.
