He was a great musician & from all accounts a really sweet person too. He died way too young.

That double-guitar solo MELTS faces... I just read that the famous Jackson "King V" was named after Robin... so sad he passed away... Long live to fine rock greats like Ratt \m/

Motley has done 2.5 excellent albums? How do you do a half of an album? I love most of the albums that both bands have done. I just think Motley has had more hits and better songs. Vince's voice is shot but Steven's is even more shot.

Well Mötley has done 2½ excellent albums, and then many bad ones. Saw them live 2009 or so, and it was horrible (mainly due Vince's voice I guess.) Ratt on the other hand has done only excellent to very good albums. And judging by the recent live videos, they r still excellent live.

@Rickduden better than Motley Crue? Are you serious? I love both but Motley owns RATT.

@buckethead200 if you were born in the 80s you wouldn't be listening to this cuz people start finding what music they like when they are like atleast 9 unless you're like a superkid xD i wish i was born in the 60s so i can be in like from 19 to 25 in the 80s

i was born in '62. I got to see Pink Floyd's Animals tour. Led Zeppelin just before Bonzo passed. AC/DC with Bon Scott. Van Halen open for Black Sabbath. Got to see Randy Rhoads several times. Seeing SRV RR and EVH is an experience I'll never forget. I got to see Ratt a few times. They were a good live band, but Juan's dancing was a bit obnoxious. There were a lot of great bands back then. Concert tickets were under $10.00. It was a much different time. People made real music. I miss it.
