this is the best album, the one that came out a couple of years ago is terrible!!!! this is sooo deep. this is the best expression of what rasputina was. I've listened to them for fifteen years. always come back to this album

This is another instance of how vocals get in the way of the blasted music! NO - I am not complaining about the vocals. I'm sure she is a good singer with a vivacious audacious countenance. But for the love of God.. Will people stop this obsequious desire to arrogate the entire track by singing over everything? I understand that audiences today are out of touch with music; otherwise the freedom to express via creative means wouldn't be replaced by a formula of the most brainless checklist clichés imaginable, but really.. this is just getting out of hand now. You don't need a singer to latch on to, in order to appreciate a track. These performances are expressive in themselves. Learn to interpret them. There's so much more to listen to in music. Unless it's POP/commercial music of course which is just utterly worthless beyond all measure!
