This is the first time I've heard this. I was 9 in '73. I sooo would have been their groupie if I had been 20.

Is it horrible that I thought this was a Mötley Crüe song? Lmao.

Agreed...AND they did it before Oasis were even born.

This has some Chuck Berry in it.

Great track from an underrated band. But I gotta say; Eric Carmen was a bit of a poor man's Steve Marriott/Robert Plant.

All of the Raspberries songs are "HOT."

No offense meant, David. And I certainly concur with your conclusions. :) As for Beady Eye, the only song from their catalogue that grabs me is "The Beat Goes On," for a number of reasons, but the soul of that band died with Noel's departure, I think ... though Liam is my favourite of the brothers, his voice isn't what it once was. I love what Noel doing with NGHFB ... his "Stop The Clock" just really hits me. What bands have you been in? I'd love to have a listen. :)

Sorry, but I"m a *huge* Oasis fan ... sorry you're obviously not. I lived in the UK for some years and really appreciate what the Gallaghers did. As for Badfinger, I'm old enough to remember them, so no need for me to "check them out." You listen to your music, and I'll happily listen to mine.

Sorry, Oasis did it WAY better ... and Oasis never tried to mix the Who with the Beatles, but the Beatles with good old fasioned rock and roll. .

Some of the best the 70s had to offer -- which was quite a lot. :-) Thanks so much for sharing.
