This was our song. She was my sweetheart from my senior year. We dated for six years and we planned our whole lives together . I was a coward and a fool and now she is married to another. There is not a single day that goes by that I don't think about her. I like to listen to this song a lot. It takes me back to a place when we were 18. We were so young, carefree and innocent. The only thing that mattered was us. We had our whole lives in front of us. I had never even heard of Rascal Flatts before, but this song came on the stereo in her car one day...It's a little strange now, considering this was our song back then, and now she's gone and what this song is actually about. There couldn't be a more appropriate song for the love I still carry for her as I move forward through the seasons of my life. I will always love you D.
