First time I did listen this song was on a radio, didn't know what was the song's title or even the band's name. I had to call the radio station to know the song and the band's name. From that time until today they are my favourite band.

This song was released right after our first born granddaughter had been ripped from our loving arms. She was only eight. Her mom had "given" her to us to take care of her because she simply couldn't do it, but after some bitter words one week night, her mom "yanked" her away and took her to a homeless shelter two hours away from our home. Only after we found out Children's Services had become involved in the turmoil, did her mom agree to "allow" us to care for her again. Sadly, a short nine month's later, our granddaughter's mom hooked with another "sucker" and we were forced to hand over our precious granddaughter, once again. Our granddaughter is now (almost) 12. The road she has traveled has been so rocky, but our promise to her is that, "I Will Stand By You," all along. Four years ago, this song brought me to tears. Now, it is a promise to our precious Hailee that "I WILL Stand by You," - always....Hailee Marie, this will ALWAYS be my song to you. I love you all the way to the moon and the sun and even more than bacon. <3
