Don't know who it was produced by but there was a fucking know-how in the studios back then that has become so rare today that everybody's jerking off on Daft Punks synthy ditties because they were recorded in an actual studio. But back then they knew how to make it lush, punchy, velvety, hot and steamy.

True story when I first heard this RE Classic, I was in the basement of my childhood friend Jay Bias. His Big Brother Frosty had just got home and put this joint on while we were reading all his College Letters of Interests and eating Lasagna. There were so many letters I thought the Mail Man just dropped of his entire mail bag. Imagine a 6'8 dude dancing telling us how all the ladies were freaking him on the dancer floor. In my eye he will always be that Man. I miss them Brothers RIP...

classics like this one remind me why ESSENCE is my favorite gogo band of all time. from 82 to 90 they were the best band in the city and there were so many great bands but ESSENCE was in my opinion the best. Love JY, Love Chuck, Love Trouble, Love Ayre Rayde, EU, Class and all the rest but ESSENCE IS #1!
