Geweldig om naar te luisteren en bij te zijn als ze optreden. Zij geven alles wat ze inzich hebben. Wij genieten altijd van de groningse mannen. Dank jullie wel

@Sisilaya did you notice that, although very eager to criticize, wpg1234 failed to prove us he could do a better job, he responded to one of my comments saying he would only need a few days(!) to post HIS rendition.that was several months ago and as I supposed, all talk, no action. I DO know a guy who is talented to post his rendition of a tune, but it is NOT this guy HERE.

The late George McIntyre of Campbelltown wrote the tune while he was in a prisoner of war camp in Germany during the second world war

@wgp1234 Even if you play this tune perfectly, if there is no emotion in it you still fail to excite your audience. And I think that is what David is aiming for, and not so much for all the technical details

@wgp1234 Although I would NORMALLY not respond any further to anyone displaying such arrogance, I will do this time though.. WE,mere mortals, music loving ,not looking for perfectionism DO NOT CARE about "Crossing noises from low G to high G" YOUR "crossing noises" and VERY pronounced arrogance are annoying though. Ever noticed how bagpipers often walk up and down when they play? Because moving targets are harder to hit, ha ha. Show us your rendition indeed!!! Waiting... with bricks, lol

@owlet1963 Crossing noises from low G to high G in the 3rd/7th bars is VERY pronounced. All of the LG B D LG sequences are muddy; needs a clearer B & add a bit to the first LG. Crushing D doublings, E doublings are usually early, he misses most of the d gracenotes on the C. Second part he is getting crossing noises in the D F HA part in the first bar. I'm running out of characters here. He had a squawk in the fourth part. Give me a few days to learn the tune and I'll post a video!

@wgp1234 WHAT muddy spots???? He does an outstanding job at this piece of music, it is not at all an easy one to play. But maybe you just commented that way because you will post a better rendition of it, right? RIGHT? I did not think so..
