Former members of the legendary punk band The Dils, Chip & Tony Kinman blazed a new trail with the revolutionary 80's Americana band, Rank & File.

Useless trivia: The video for "Black Book" was shot at the same location as the cult film "Hell Comes to Frogtown" starring Rowdy Roddy Piper.

Chip sang lead on "Rank and File". Tony sings lead on "Black Book". Jeff Ross plays lead guitar quite a bit differently from Alejandro Escovedo, too. I love 'em both!

Thanks for posting. Haven't heard this great song for many a year. The singer acquired a lot of base in his voice since the song "Rank and file".
