Born and raised in Houston, Tx. Randy play guitar for Gene Watson At the age of 13 and later for Frenchie Burke before going solo. If you were in and around Houston From 1976-1982....you know who Randy Corner is....Outlaw Radio has a large collection of hard to find, out of print songs in its library. All songs are original recordings. And this is just one of them. If there is a song that you have been looking for and have yet to find, send me a request cause there is a chance that I have it. Thanks, Snoop Diddy Program Director at Outlaw Radio.

It was the Wells Fargo Club. Randy and Kelly played there until Western Swing came along. Don't know why they split, but Randy went to the Swing. Both are great. I remember those times well.

H.D. Gresham, the track you are looking for is called Ring Telephone Ring (Damn Telephone). Randy still performs in Pasadena, TX. at the Moose Lodge 1721. He is there two Wednesdays out of every month. The lodge opens to the public on the nights he performs there.

It is already on you tube. And it's a very clean recording.

For years I have been searching for an original Randy Corner song. The name was either "Telephone" of "Telephone Ring." Can you help me with that one?

Randy's voice is one I always remember. I confused him with Jimmy Clanton, I think. But he can sure lay in the sad or tender quality to his voice. Especially in 'Heart, don;t fail me now' and 'Sometimes I talk in my sleep'. I don't have the album anymore, but it is good to hear it online.
