Do you remember Hullabaloo,

Upbeat, Shindig and Ed Sullivan too?.

Do You Remember Rock'N'Roll radio?

Do You Remember Rock'N'Roll radio?

Do you remember Murray the K,

Alan Freed, and high energy?

It's the end, the end of the 70's.

It's the end, the end of the century.

Do you remember lying in bed with your covers

Pulled up over your head? Radio playin' so no one can see.

We need change, we need it fast before rock's just part

Of the past. 'Cause lately it all sound the same to me.

Oh-oh. Will you remember Jerry Lee,

John Lennon, T. Rex and Ol' Moulty?

It's the end, the end of the 70's.

It's the end, the end of the century.

wow, I feel like I've never actually heard this song before, lol. I've only ever heard the live version on their "We're outta here CD". live version sounds more punk.

Great show they did at The Chance, Poughkeepsie, NY, 1989. Lucky to have seen it.

A little trivia for y'all. Moulty was the one-handed drummer for the Barabarians. They had a minor hit with "Are You A Boy Or Are You A Girl".The Cryan Shames of Chicago also a one- handed tambourine player named J.C. Hooke. They had a minor hit with "Sugar And Spice."

The Ramones were let down by radio, their record company...just about everyone. Really sad.

For bands like Jackie Benson and His Delta Cats ("Rocket 88") and for Alan Freed's original Moondog Coronation Ball (in Cleveland, OH -- my old hometown).
