They did what they wanted to. A lot of people complain about bands selling out, the Ramones did it their way from the start to the end, maybe they never "broke through", but maybe they never really wanted to.Not everything they did was mu style, but I've known several people who loved all these "kiddie" type songs they did and who else made stuff like this.The Ramones had something for everyone who likes rock music.

I agree, mike brown just don't get "IT" man, the cheesy IS the ramones!!!! but I do agree, they do better live, for my tastes....but I love the crust too.

Songs like this are why the Ramones could never break through. Horrible song. And their albums were always so badly produced. I mean they wrote some great songs that sounded great live but their a lot of their albums just didn't do the band justice.

Another Ramones song showing the influences of certain 60's songs. It's amazing how certain songs of the Ramones latter era didn't sound unlike their earlier material. Crummy Stuff could have EASILY been released on their debut album! For the most part, throughout the Ramones career, they kept their formula intact.
