Portrait of the Artist as a Young Ram is the second and final album by the band Ram Jam in 1978. Re-released in 2006 on Rock Candy Records. The title is a play on James Joyce's semi-autobiographical novel A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man. Members of Ram Jam: Jimmy Santoro (lead/rhythm guitar), Howie Blauvelt (bass), Peter Charles (drums), Myke Scavone (lead vocals), Bill Bartlett (rhythm gtr)

This is the greatest song Ram Jam ever wrote in my opinion. Such an underrated band. Black Betty wasn't shit compared to many of their other great songs.
