Yes, I've been to Montreal several times; but I've only been there for one winter. I only remember one night in January at 2:00 a.m. The wind was so cold and piercing, it was particularly painful. After a while, the ears went numb and it didn't really hurt. Yet I think that this song is about something much deeper than how cold the city is.10 years ago
