Technically this composition is not that difficult, compared to some of the other Ritchie's work. But that's just on the surface -- to reeeally "feel" it and deliver it, requires some of the highest levels of musicianship and technical proficiency.Only Ritchie could make his guitar simultaneously talk and cry -- no one else ever could! He has always managed to effortlessly squeeze out of his instrument real human emotions. His phrasing is impeccable, his playing is out of this world. His unique tone is INSTANTLY recognizable and his one string bend hands down beats million notes machine-gunned by some mindless shredders, who could never attain Ritchie's height. His playing could only be remotely copied at best, but his unique style could never be imitated or recreated!! Most under-appreciated guitar genius.
