@aadoyle7when he said to steve that he had done nothing good since leaving the small faces and steve got very upset about that because he rated humble pie much higher than ronnies band slim chance. they reformed later tho. didnt speak for about 5 years, then they formed the majik mijits. check them out!

@sydskyds they did make up, the small faces reunited but lane left after marriott punched him, lane was just starting to get ill and was tripping up and falling over all of the time, marriott thought he was drunk and not taking the comeback seriously, the band confronted lane in the studio-lane didnt tell them about his illness and just a big argument

Well in the late 70s, the Small Faces reunited for two albums. Lane was part of that too for a while, but from what I know, he didn't like the way they sounded, Marriott got a little pissed off about that, Lane then told him he hadn't written a decent song since he formed Humble Pie, and left the reunion. That was it, pretty much.

I;m not completely sure about the exact number, but I've got 18 albums, including compilations. Yes, Marriott and Lane fell out, partly because they were going in different directions, musically... and Steve's lifestyle wasn't all that fit for a band like the small faces
