"Long Walk Home" Lyrics:

how we dream . . of a perfect love

. . . and believe we are that strong

how you find . . there's too much weight

. . . for anyone to take

oh, i cannot carry this illusion anymore

oh, i will be ready when you knock upon my door

take my hand it's a long walk home

how we dream . . of a perfect space

. . . a forgotten peaceful place

how you find . . there's too much weight

. . . for anyone to take

oh, i cannot carry this illusion anymore

oh, i will be ready when I knock upon your door

take my hand it's a long walk home

a long walk on through the valley

follow me in with all you've got

follow me into the valley . . .

Anyone know the chords todd is playing?! It looks like f and c maybe and g in there with variations like he tends to do but does anyone know the base chords?

This is probably my favorite RRE song...and that's hard to say considering how many great songs Todd and everyone else have produced. They just keep getting better with age!

@jcem24 Hi jcem. Been following these guys since my son-in-law did some brass work for them in Denver at their Amen Corner tour stop. All of the guys are really talented and fun to spend some time with. I guess my guts tell me the last two trips to Seattle weren't that great for them as it's been a year and a half since their last stop and nothing in the forecast. If they do Portland in the near future, I am gonna drive down there as Portland really welcomes them! Peace

@irsjack Yeah, looking forward to a Seattle performance...no matter how long I have to wait!

I just love the mix of the octave mando and guitar - could listen to you all all night. So nice that "atomic dragon" whoever, the "self proclaimed sage of all music" hasn't seen this yet or he'd find some way of calling everyone whose made any sort of comment, something less than good. Keep playing singing and writing guys. And please make sure Seattle is in the future! Peace

Good to see these guys continuing to produce great music. Todd with some nice musicianship on the harp. And, of course - another well-crafted song. Great video overall. I just think the shot of the camerawoman is a bit superfluous and detracting/distracting. But I understand the desire to be on the other side of the lens sometimes.
