Dann Huff only plays the solo bridge. Heli Sterner played the rest. "Half the Band" did not marry the members of White Heart. RR keyboardist Brynn Beltran did marry WH keyboardist Mark Gershmehl. That was it.As far as where is the band? Jenny York went back to KTLA to do reporting and got married. She also has a jazz quartet. Cheryl Jewel still sings and recently did some jazz concerts. The drummer I thinks works for IBM in the Bay area. Brynn and Mark have a worship consulting biz called Soulbreather. Heli Sterner has an art and deco biz on California. Alot of potential these girls had and definitely blazed some trails.

Wonder why the altered lyrics.It's "I Hear the VOICES when I'm dreaming, I can hear THEM say." The song was written well before Kerry's conversion experience. Not crazy about changing iconic songs.

Legendary guitarist/producer Dann Huff of Giant plays much of the lead guitar on Rachel, Rachel's albums and this cut came from the album. (Most all bands use lip-synching and fake instrument playing in their videos.) So the best guitar licks are probably not played by the band, but by Dann. (In addition to Huff, there were several other studio musicians in addition to band members from White Heart that played on this album.I never seen the band play, but I'm sure the girls play fairly decent.

Not bad for a bunch of girls, but pales in comparison to Kansas's version and the mighty, soaring vocals of Steve Walsh!That was nice of Kerry to appear in the video!.

This is my favorite version of this song. I attribute that to Jennifer "Sparky" Sparks's solid and prominent drumming and Cheryl Jewell's powerful vocal delivery. Jewell really carries the phrases through so that this version packs a real punch.
