Wow this is wonderful. My favorite song with Jeff singing... besides maybe the Godzilla cover.

I have no idea why Racer X and Mr. Big songs remind me of some of Jun Senoue's work...

I don't know why this song doesn't have many hits on youtube. Amazing composition!

What a brilliant comment (or sequence of comments, heh). Absolutely right, Jeff is a fantastic singer and drummer, Scott is one of metal's best, and John is up there with Sheehan. I hope my age doesn't invalidate my opinion, mind you.

Lest I forget, noting Paul's prolific output with any band -- 'solo' project or mainstream act -- he has brought signature style and uncommon talent to every project. I think that it's wholly ignorant to refer to Racer X as "...just another band Paul Gilbert participated in...". Racer X continues to inspire countless guitarists, bassists, drummers and vocalists -- from kids who are learning to play, to more experienced musicians who desire to play even better. Racer X is something special.

I disagree with your opinion that Paul alone made Racer X the shining star it remains. His virtuosity caught Mike Varney's ear, Racer X became Paul's 'vehicle', but the band is a cohesive powerhouse because of the totality of talent in it. I checked your profile: you were pooping in your diapers around the time this band went on hiatus. At least you like quality musicianship. I've met Paul, Jeff and Scott -- all super-cool. Jeff is far more gifted than most realize. Racer X is a total package.

Only songs I liked off this album are bucket of rocks, Heaven in 74, Ghost Dance, Endless and this song. Made a CD with superheros and slaped these 5 on the back of it and it RAWKS

He executes his tunes with so much follow through, you can tell he's inspired by his bandmates

@YummyBananaFish I agree. Racer X was just another band Paul Gilbert participated in, and again he MADE the band with his amazing guitar playing. This song has amazing musical and vocal work in it and it has to be one of my favorite off the getting heavier album.

I actually didn't like this album very much overall, but this is one of the 3 or 4 songs which I liked a lot. Probably best of all.
