Solos by the late Jerome Richardson on Flute, Jerry Hey on Flugelhorn and the incomparable Pete Christlieb on Tenor Sax....plus Louis Johnson on bass ...... the only player I've ever heard playing electric bass in a big band and making it happen.
At the center, one of the truly greats in music, Quincy Jones.

Yes, Quincy had genius.. He loved jazz, and was very innovative. He drifted into 'pop' music to make enough money to live a life - and even that gentre he improved and brought a little class to the arrangements. A great guy.9 years ago
