Randy may have been a tiny guy but at 1:22 he bends that root note up 5 half-steps. That takes some serious hand/finger strength.As for the material itself, you cats who say this stuff sucks need to really chill out: These were formative years in Randy's playing. The genius could be predicted through the Kevin DuBrow schlock that he Randy to deal with. He already had great chops but in the context of this "poppy" band, his hard rock side was somewhat suppressed. And remember folks, Jimi Hendrix didn't pop out of the womb playing "Purple Haze".....it actually took a while!
