So different from even Promised Land (Great album, btw). HITNF really grew on me as I kept listening. Went to Star lake and saw them up close and MAN did they sound good. This is what they opened the concert with and it was awesome! Don't get me wrong... I am a die hard fan since their first album and nothing will ever top their early albums (up to Mindcrime). I still don't understand why this album is so much hated. The only thing that could be a problem is just it's not prog metal. Sure - it's not OM, nor Empire but it has some pretty good tracks.10 years ago

I hated it at first but it eventually grew on me. It's miles above what they released after, with the exception of OMII. I couldn't get into the other later ones and I really did try. Even if it's too late to really matter at this point, I'm actually glad they kicked Tate out if it's true about him being mostly responsible for the awful releases through the 00's. It still boggles my mind that they were able to make OMII as good as they did in the middle of all of the other garbage.11 years ago

Great song...good to hear they could sound as good as any band in '97, I can understand why it wouldn't go over well with some but I LOVE that slide guitar part....been stuck on this disc and 'Q2K' as of late.12 years ago
