my email address is named after this song. at the time when yahoo first came they only allowed 8 characters with no spaces so I had to cut it short. neuregel. later I picked up neue regel but email was so popular it was just too much of a hassle to change it to the correct version. to this day I just use neuregel yahoo.com

that it is a serious "Band" effort and a great one indeed. The songs are energetic and have a great vibe to them. Tate had been running this show for a while and compromising and destroying his relationship with the band for around 10 years,it was a slow process but it all came down to whatever happened last year. The direction in which he was leading Queensryche was not preferable to the band nor the fans. Not involving them "Purposely" in the creative process was not the right way to do things

You cannot disregard three of the founding members and just have your entire dictatorship over the band. what happened in the HITNF sessions was that there were some serious problems between DeGarmo and Tate as well, their writing chemistry was affected by the disapproval over various ideas. Not the direction at the time but certain things that De Garmo wanted Tate did not want and that is what lead to DeGarmo's departure. If you hear the band today with Todd La Torre, you can clearly tell

I don't mind the change in style. HITNF was pretty good as well but it did lack some elements of strength. Ok look man there is a lot of misinformation out there. The truth is the band "DID" want to write together but Mr.Tate completely ignored the band, got session musicians for various albums and outside writers. They were Tate's solo adventures on the Queensryche brand and that is now how the band used to run. The band was formed by Rcokenfield,Wilton and Jackson initially.

Ok....what's interesting about the change in QR's style is that they've always changed, but DeGarmo was actually the one who got away from the metal and more into a blues based style of playing. Tate did his best, but when the other members do not contribute, which they didn't in the late '90s due to many reasons, divorces, ect. the band loses chemistry. By the way DeGarmo wrote all of HITNF. Although, I love it. Can you explain that departure?

I saw this tour too. They played a lot of the older stuff. Tate was in great form on this tour and I've seen them live since '84.

I think Geoff is a great artist but his vision for Queensryche was absolutely not great for quiet a while. Also check out the whole law suite stuff that took place between Tate and the band. You'll find some surprising details in there.

I am not wrong at all. Actually De Garmo,Wilton and Rockenfield are still very much in touch. DeGarmo loves the new Queensryche self titled album. If you do your research you'll find out everything. Plus this is not about who is right and wrong anymore. Anyone that has heard both the Queensryche versions recently clearly can tell the founding members deserve to carry on with that name. You can disagree with me,that is fine. We won't get anywhere with that.

De Garmo on the other hand is very supportive of the Wilton camp,so I think whether we agree or not the facts, the new album by both camps and everything speak for themselves. The writing chemistry between Tate and De Garmo was very strong. But a lot of people miss out on the fact how many riffs Michale Wilton was responsible for in the past as well. Promised Land was the last most honest team effort between the band, after that there were plenty of tensions amongst all members.

New music? Did you even listen to the new Queensryche album done by Tate camp? Its horrendous. Wilton and the boys know how to make a solid record and they proved it with the recent release. They do experiment but they also do stay heavy, this was never about heavier styles or something. Queensryche is known to be a "Progressive Metal" band to begin with. I don't mind less heavier stuff but it has to be good.Tate hasn't allowed Wilton and the boys to have any creative input for years.

Actually, I have seen what Chris De Garmo and Geoff have said about the writing. When you're in a band together there are times you would have to agree with the other person as well, even though there were tensions between the two. Do you know how supportive Chirs De Garmo is of the new Queensryche album done by the Wilton camp. I am sorry,I disagree the new Queensryche album is phenomenal, the one done by the Wilton camp. It's not just heavy but also has variety.

That statement is not correct, there are interview videos on youtube with Chris and Geoff in 2002 and 2007 talking about their how the writing chemistry became more sophisticated over the years. It's apparent that Wilton, Jackson and Rockenfield wanted to stay with the heavier style, while Chris and Geoff were always moving forward with new music.
