Nothing is ever as it seems, the Eddie Trunks complicate things by not leaving mystery to itself

Oops, I marked thumbs up by accident...could have sworn you said you really liked Geoff T. & felt he truly contributed even after Chris D. left. My mistake! Peace

Queensryche without both Tate and DeGarmo...has about as much chance as Journey without both Perry and Shon..or Creed without Stapp and Tremonti..or Led Zep without Pland and Page..etc..etc. Sometimes the band is greater than the sum of it's collective parts.

Michael and Eddie never had anything to say, Rockenfield isn't even there. At 1:00 Jackson gives DeGarmo the ugly look, you can see him clench when DeGarmo/Tate talk about changing, growing and experimenting musically. Jackson/ Wilton/ Rockenfield were more than happy to ride on the coat tails of DeGarmo/ Tate as long as the $ was rolling in. All you have to do is look at the catalog of music to see how little the 3 had to contribute. People put DeGarmo's departure on Tate..... I disagree.

The remaining 3 members have stated numerous times that Tate intentionally blocked them from contributing because Tate wanted Queensryche to be his way or the highway. The new album from Queensryche is their best album since Promised Land. The rest of the band wrote the new album, and its really good. Tate was bullsh*tting. Also, Michael Wilton wrote plenty of Queensryche's best songs. I don't mean to sound like a dick, but Tate has an incentive to lie, and his statements don't add up.

Chris joined/formed another band right after he left Queensryche.

Chris left because he didn't want to do the rock star thing anymore. Period. He would have continued with another band and stayed in the industry if he wanted, but that wasn't what he had planned. It had nothing to do with the band itself and anyone in it. Get it straight.

Sorry dude, but for many, Tate put them on the map. Tate has stated that Chris was his main writing partner and when he left, the rest of the band didn't contribute much. Now they are capitalizing on the hits that made them huge in the first place.

lol....glad you're joking. Chris wrote HITNF by the way. He changed the direction and his style beginning with Empire. I'm sure Mike wasn't complaining at all when that one went big time.

If you hate the guy, so be it. But I'm betting you got into QR's music mainly because of how Tate blew everyone away with his vocals. And by the way, Chris was very protective of the music he wrote, so much so that he didn't want the band to capitalize on it after he quit. He filed and everything.

Look....the past is the past, but give credit where it is due. Tate did more than just sing. His vocal style was like an instrument all on it's own. His stage performance made you believe. He and DeGarmo had a great writing relationship. If you have any background in singing or in music, you would understand the difference between just singing and making your voice a part of the bands direction. If he just wrote a few words, then his singing wouldn't be the major reason why so many love QR.
