Aaron, they recorded the different drum parts separately in a small room. There's a video on it somewhere.

Find a guitar cover. No One Knows is a hugely popular song, so there are lots of them. A good cover wil feel like the original and a lot of them will have the drums, bass and so on muted almost to the point of not able to be heard. Also try a bass cover.

I know what that talking is at about 2:30 and 3:00. It's Josh vocalizing the drum fills. In one of the making of the SFTD videos it showed him telling Dave how he wanted them to sound.
